I started running when I was in my late 30's. My first run was one light post to the next. Overtime, I one day invisioned myself running a marathon before I turned 50. This would by far, be an ultimate goal for me.
I successfully completed the Gasparilla Marathon at age 47 in 2010. When I reflected back over my months of training, I realized I remained healthy the entire time I trained. I joyfully continued teaching all of my fitness classes each week, trained clients, and cared for my husband and three teenage children.
